ABOUT US

My wife, Sue, and I have been running our gardening business in beautiful Bowral in the Southern Highlands of NSW for 12 years. That has reinforced the importance of vistas and focal points within a garden and this naturally led to a search for interesting items to use in the landscape.

Our search for such items for both ourselves and clients led us to all the usual suspects in the usual garden and hardware stores. Unsatisfied with the available options I eventually created a piece for Sue as an anniversary gift and people began to show so much interest that we focused more and more on broadening our offerings of quality pieces. Our botanically themed water features attract wildlife, provide a calm and serene feel to the garden with their sound and of course provide a unique artistic focal point to any part of the garden.

We hope to provide clients with something both functional, calming and beautiful.

HANDCRAFTED BESPOKE PIECES

The beauty of bespoke pieces is that we can work with a  client on design, scale and site requirements. As we make the pieces ourselves, we can scale existing designs to a site or we, together with the client, can create a totally unique design within the parameters of botanically inspired copper water features.

Copper lends itself perfectly to water features since it wears well and ages gracefully, developing a rich patina. The oxidation process can be halted, at least temporarily, by applying a clear protective layer on the surface of the copper which prevents air reaching it. That means that someone may prefer a shiny metal finish and their piece can be preserved in that state. Others may let the metal age naturally and yet others may prefer to halt or pause the process somewhere in between those states.
